Laurence Nagel is a freelance cultural manager and consultant based in Stuttgart. The German-French woman completed her education (Master of Arts Cultural Management and Diploma in European Studies) in Osnabrück, Paris and Montpellier. After many years of working in an organizational and managerial position in cultural institutions and projects in Baden-Württemberg - especially in socio-culture and in state-wide networks of the independent scene - she offers her know-how as an expert in organizational development, financing and fundraising and advises actors and institutions on all relevant questions of production, distribution and strategic planning in the artistic context. She sees herself as a networker, especially for the performing arts and especially contemporary dance in southern Germany, as well as on a national and international level. She develops concepts and formats to improve mobility and visibility of dance and theatre professionals between regions.

Her way of working is characterized by strong empathy combined with strong analytical skills, which allow her to think outside the box and develop individual offers. Laurence is able to integrate individual positions and needs, maintaining an eye on the “big picture”.
